CCNP v6.0

The Networking Academy CCNP v6.0 curriculum consists of three new courses that align with the new Cisco certification exams:

  • CCNP ROUTE: Implementing IP Routing - this course replaces CCNP v5.0 Building Scalable Internetworks (BSI)
  • CCNP SWITCH: Implementing IP Switched Networks - this course replaces CCNP v5.0 Building Multilayer Switched Networks (BMSN).
  • CCNP TSHOOT: Troubleshooting and Maintaining IP Networks
Please note that two of the CCNP v5.0 courses, Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks (ISCW) and Optimizing Converged Networks (OCN), do not have a direct replacement. The content of these courses has been either incorporated into the three new courses, or dropped from the CCNP curriculum.

CCNP Certification
The revised Cisco CCNP certification requires candidates to complete three 120-minute exams that validate the key competencies of network engineers: ROUTE 642-902, SWITCH 642-813, and TSHOOT 642-832. ROUTE and SWITCH replace the BSCI and BCMSN exams; however the TSHOOT exam covers new material on troubleshooting multisite enterprise networks.
